The Schedule

This event is a pretty much a kick-the-tires kind of affair, with a few goodies thrown for good measure.

Friday:

Arrivals, greetings, hugs, and maybe some rides.

Friday evening, 6:30 :  Dinner on the patio at Sergio's Mexican restaurant, in Herrin, IL.

Saturday:

8:00             Hangar Breakfast - hosted by the Southern Illinois University student organization Rotor & Wing Association. All are welcome for fly or drive in.

10:00           Q-200 builder/pilot Sanjay Dhall will be giving a presentation on his very thorough flight testing program.  Sanjay made the plan, then flew his plan, in a very professional manner.  I'm sure you will enjoy seeing the right way to do it.

11:00          Sam Hoskins will demonstrate the techniques of using the epoxy-wipe method of finishing mold-less composite structures.  This method does away with so many of the time wasting methods from the days of old.

12:30          Working lunch.  Introductions, awards, etc.

1:30            Engine cowlings off - a great show and tell.  Advise dispensed and received with a grain of salt.  Photographs are allowed.

2:30            Rides?

6:30           World famous barbecue ribs at 17th Street Bar & Grill, in Marion. Informal open seating in the back room.

Sunday:

Goodbyes, regrets, hugs, tears, promises, kisses.
